Another healthy snack or dessert option to try!! Stewed Apple is an old fashioned favourite that it so simple to prepare. Infusing some chopped Apple with vanilla essence and cinnamon in some boiling water is really tasty and beats eating a plain Apple for a change.
My youngest child who is 10 months loves this as her tea in the evening.

Here’s what to do:
Peel & chop 3 small apples or 2 medium apples into chunks
Add to a small saucepan with 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence and 1/4 pint of boiling water.
Stir all ingredients together, bring to the boil, turn down the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes
Serve immediately with some Greek yoghurt and sprinkle of stevia if desired.
Makes 2-3 servings
